Friday I’m in Love

I had a lot of fun yesterday and today. Visiting some of the most talented people I know in the blogging community gives me a high. I get to read a lot of amazing poetry. I get to know a lot of amazing people. It is really a great experience. This is really what I missed when I was inactive for the past weeks. I am so glad that I am back. Blogging really defines my life. Writing poetry is one of my passions.

I also wish to nominate John, the Traveling Poet, for next week’s Perfect Poet Award. I believe that John makes such a good poet because he also goes from one place to another. Not only does he create very good poems, he also makes very expressive pictures.

For Jeffrey

I love you
So much that I can see
The whole world through your eyes
Everytime you look at me.

I love you
So much that my heart beats
The same time as yours does
Even when we’re not near.

I love you
So much that I could always smell
Your skin and your scent in my head
Things that I know so well.

I love you
So much that even an eternity
Is never enough for me to love you
With every moment in between.

I love you,
And there is no other way
I would want to live my life
But with you, every single day.

I love you,
And there is absolutely no one
Who could take your place because
For me, there’ll always be just one.

I love you,
And I awaken at your lightest touch.
You bring me back to the world.
You give me everything and so much.

I love you,
But it’s more than just that.
You are my life and my reason,
The one person that I was created for.
