May 21

May 21, 2011

I never even noticed that April just flew by. I was too busy in many online things that I never really knew what happened to April. I wasn’t even able to enjoy summer at all.

Some people said the world was going to end today, May 21, 2011. I don’t believe any of that at all. If the world ends, then it ends. I don’t want the world to end. I want to live. But I think I pretty much don’t have a choice if Earth decides to stop existing, right?

I want to go to the beach on Sunday. The sea and I have not been together for a long time. But wait, the world is supposed to end today, so maybe it’s too early to make plans, don’t you think?

Ice Drops and Candy Pops

July 1, 2010

Burning heat, scorching sun
Taking out all of the fun
Of a beautiful summer day
As lazy hours pass away.

Sweat, clothes, to the skin, they stick
Shy away from the camera’s click.
My face, covered in oil and dust,
But endure the summer heat, I must.

Yet from afar I could clearly see
Colors that brighten up the day for me
Pink, Orange, Yellow and Blue
And many different flavors too.

Taste, so delicious and delightful
I could eat it in one mouthful
So cold, my mouth and tongue it stings
But oh, the soothing coolness it brings.

Now I eat pink, later, yellow
In my mouth, it melts so
I could eat this everyday
Until the summer heat blows away.

“““`
Can anyone tell me or try to guess what I am referring to in the poem?

Summer

April 22, 2010

It’s the time of bright shining sun,
Of endless adventure, joy, and fun.
Looking around me, I see many people
Living as if life was just so simple.

It’s summer, and it’s the best time of the year
To laugh out loud and never shed a tear.
It’s summer, a time when I shouldn’t be blue.
But I am, because I’m thinking of you.

Summer means heat and sandy beaches too.
There are so many things once can do.
It’s time to stroll around the whole city,
Time to forget all that’s shitty.

It’s summer, and I’m supposed to be happy,
But why do I feel so sad and lonely
It’s summertime; I really shouldn’t be blue.
But I am, because I’m missing you.

This is the time I should be with friends,
Sharing a happiness that never ends.
It’s time I should go out and face the world
Oh! World, prepare yourself for this girl.

It’s summer now; I should be out there
Running around, feeling the wind in my hair.
This is summer, but I really feel very blue
Because this summer, I’ve fallen in love with you.

Seasons (A Collection of Six Haikus)

February 17, 2010

I notice that a lot of people are fond of writing Haiku. I, on the other hand, write poems about love and, sometimes, society. I think I have written Some Haiku before, but I don’t know where those poems are. I decided to write a Haiku today, just for the fun of it. I came up with one poem, but I felt like one Haiku was not enough. If I can come up with a 20-line poem anytime, surely, a Haiku wouldn’t be so difficult, would it? I tried to write more, and I finally came up with six Haikus. Enjoy, friends! 🙂

Summer’s almost here.
Children are all out, playing,
Having fun each day.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Rainy days are gone.
The sun is shining brightly;
The sky is now clear.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

When leaves are golden,
The air is almost frozen.
Autumn has begun.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I touch the cold ice
Falling from a cloudless sky,
This winter, so cold.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Flowers all blooming
So colorful, they all are
Everytime spring comes.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Let’s go to the beach
And roll in the fine white sand
Under the hot sun.
