Warm Hugs and Cheek Kisses

I had late lunch with my girlfriends today. I haven’t seen them for a while now. What’s more was that this was the first time that we were complete. We used to meet up for lunch every now and then, one or two would always fail to make it. Today, however, even Fay, who was the one who always missed out on meet ups, was able to join us. I miss these girls so much.

We all met three years ago, when I joined TeleTech. Ever since then, we have always clicked. We eventually split up, leading our own lives. Leah was already with the OSC while the rest of us remained as agents. The next person who moved on was Fay. She joined the ACE team just shortly before Ynez joined the QA Team. After that, Honey resigned from TeleTech. I joined the ACE Team around May 2008, and Alex also left TeleTech shortly after.

It is amazing how much can happen after months of not seeing each other. Now, we all have very good lives. Leah and Ynez are now mommies. Honey is now with Convergys. Alex is an SME in Etelecare, and Leah is still very successful with the OSC. As for me, well, you know what I am now, and it’s something that I surprisingly love doing. All I can say is that I am happy with where we all are now. I am sure that the future holds so much more in store for us.

The Day Before Sunday

I am excited for tomorrow because I invited my friends to come over. My boyfriend is the incredibly possessive type, and he doesn’t like it if I go out with my friends. He thinks we’re going to do crazy stuff, which we never do at all. He also does not like the idea of going out with me AND my friends. I do not know what’s the thing with him, but he much prefers to stay at home all the time.

Because of this, I decided to just have my friends come over instead. My original plan is to have lunch with them. We’d probably have karaoke and some beer too, but I’m not too sure about the beer. I hope that all the ones I invited will really come. With all the changes that I am going through because of a new job, I want to spend some time with these people I am leaving behind. Well, for now, I have to get busy with buying the food that I will cook tomorrow. I’ll surely post some pictures in my Facebook for tomorrow’s lunch with my friends. Until then, all I can do is prepare the food… 🙂
