Shape Up

July 5, 2010

I’ve been pretty busy trying to put all my poems into the new website. The fact that I’ve written so many over the past years make the task at hand seem more tiresome. Over one hundred poems have been written on paper, so I have to encode them just to post them to the site. At least I have about a hundred as well that’s already published virtually, so I won’t have any problems with them anymore. I’m starting out with the poems I wrote from high school through college. When I’m done with all of them, I will post all the new ones, so they get read more. I’m a little more proud of the new ones because I feel like they have more depth than the ones I wrote when I was younger.

It might be a little difficult handling two websites at the same time, which is why the second website will strictly be just for poetry. By the way, I would totally welcome guest posts, if someone feels like volunteering, although the site’s not that trafficked yet to be offering guest postings at the moment. However, that’s a concept I would really love to entertain, now, or in the future. I wonder how it’s going to help the website to have other people write for it as well.

Weekends are always hard because they are never enough. Somehow, no matter how long the weekend is, it always feels short. Its always over before I’m even ready to say goodbye to it. I guess that’s what everybody else feels about weekends. I hope you guys will be as supportive of my second website as you have been with me here. That domain was really paid for, so I am really hoping to keep that place as active as I can. Of course, I am never going to live this place too. This is just where I can rant and rave without being afraid. I’ll see you again tomorrow, folks. Good nighty!!!!

Free

May 8, 2010

These part time work as a freelance writer is extremely exhausting and fun. It’s exhausting because I need to be able to deliver several articles as fast as I can. But I am also enjoying it because I am learning a lot from the articles that I write. In short, I can definitely see myself doing this freelance gig for a long time. My mom says it’s only right that I take advantage of my skills. I was born with the ability to write well. It would be such a waste if I fail to use it for my advantage.

I will apologize in advance if there comes a time when I am absent from the blog That means I just needed to take a breather and give my brain a little rest. However, I will always be here for the rally on Thursdays. I’ll also make more effort in visiting my friends’ blogs when I’m online. Have ย great weekend, folks. ๐Ÿ™‚

Fruity

May 5, 2010

I know I have been pretty absent lately, but I am so glad to be blogging again. These absences may occur again in the future, as I also want to focus on being a freelance writer. I may appear like I am spreading myself too thin. However, I am amazed at myself sometimes because I never knew I was good at balancing things. At least, I know when and where to compromise. I am so thankful I have blogging friends who still take the time each day to visit my blog and check on me. I am going to do them a favor today, and drop by their blogs too.

I want to thank Jingle because she has given me yet another award for my blog. I am not going to pass this on to anybody right now because I feel like all my poet and blogger friends also have their own award from Jingle’s blog. If any of you haven’t had any award to decorate your blog with, I would gladly give you one of mine.

Awake

May 4, 2010

Finally, that intensely busy weekend is over. Monday was not even spared. It was supposed to be a holiday, but I had to write so many articles this week. All in all, I think I was able to write more than 60 articles, each with a different topic.

I must say that I think I have exhausted myself. Except that I don’t feel that way at all. If anything, I feel rejuvenated. I feel renewed and more relaxed, and thank GOD for that. WordPress, I am definitely back!

Manager

May 1, 2010

I was offline yesterday, and I was not able to blog anything at all. I was just so busy yesterday; I got tramped over all the work I was doing. I’m also doing a stint as a freelance writer, so I am kind of having a little difficulty trying to balance things. I hope I’ll get used to being this full with time. I need to manage time better.

My boyfriend always complained that I was bad at time management, and I always did not agree with him about that. I know I am good at time management. Although there are just sometimes that I slack off a little. Hey, I am allowed that, right? Anyway, I can’t slack off now. I need to be able to deliver. See you again tomorrow, guys. xoxo

Seriously…

March 30, 2010

I have always wanted to try multi-blogging. The idea of maintaining more than one blog is exciting. It also poses a challenge. Can I actually do it if I multi-blog? Right now, I have two blogs; one of them is not yet live. Can I actually get away if I create a third blog? Honestly, I think I can. It’s just that I don’t know anything else to blog about. My second blog was an easy idea because I already have a lot of poems to post on it. But a third blog? Well, what else can I possibly blog about?

I guess then that I just have to keep two blogs for now. It is already multi-blogging because I have more than one blog. But this is a lot easier. The blog awards that I received are poking me in the ribs, wanting to be posted up. Unfortunately, I do not have much time to blog today. I am currently trying to oversee the training of three smart ladies who will start taking calls on Friday. I have to give them a lot of time. Until next time. ๐Ÿ™‚

Following…

March 3, 2010

Wednesdays are always wacky. I’ve been a little busy the past couple of days, and I might just get busier. I have to adjust to a lot of major changes that has recently happened. My life now needs a lot of getting used to. However, I will still be writing a poem tomorrow, and I assure you that I’ll post something well worth your time.

I am really thankful because my blogging friends have been very supportive. Getting to know them has proven to be one of the most fruitful things in my life. I won’t be absent from blogging. I will never be. Blogging is my life, you know. But you may find that I’ll be posting really short blogs for now. I hope you just give me a week or two.

To all my friends, I’ll see you all tomorrow, when we scour the WP world reading poetry and commenting on magnificent works by other poets… ๐Ÿ™‚
