You Are California

You are cutting edge and diverse. People may call you flaky, but you can’t help that you have a lot going on.
In general, you are friendly and laid back. There’s nothing you like better than a quiet afternoon at the beach.

You are socially progressive and open minded. Anyone is welcome into your circle of friends.
You may be a bit image conscious, but you understand that appearances matter!

Just so…

May 5, 2010

Here’s another blogsite that I would like to share to my friends. This is a linklog, though. It’s not like any of the other usual blogs that post ramblings, musings, or poetry. This blog here shares download links to ebooks.

Personally, I would much rather own a copy of the actual book. But I read ebooks all the time. That way, I get to decide whether I like the book enough to actually get a copy of it and include it in my collection.

I don’t know if any of you are into ebooks, though. But I’d just like to share. Please click the link below if you want to check out the site.

For Sharing

April 19, 2010
I want to share one of my favorite websites. It’s called Scribd. You may click on its name to get routed to the website.
Scribd and I met a little over a year ago. We were introduced by my friend, Coleen, whom I have already mentioned in yesterday’s post. Ever since then, Scribd and I were a hit.
I’m sure you want to know what Scribd is all about, right? If you haven’t visited the site at all, you’d be surpised at the treasures you can find there. It’s a place where you can share all your documents online. You can even download the ones that people want to share for free.
I haven’t uploaded or shared anything in Scribd yet, but I am planning to do so very soon. I might share some share-worthy documents that I have. Anyway, if you haven’t met Scribd yet, please visit the website and have hours of fun! 🙂

Try Blogdive

March 2, 2010

Ever since I signed up for WordPress, my blogging experience has been very fulfilling and rewarding. For the first time, I finally see myself staying with WordPress for as long as I am able to blog. I think, more than just the blog, it is also the software that WP uses.

This is the reason why I would like to also promote this blog host which also uses the WP software. Visit this host at http://blogdive.com. Most of its features are similar to WP. It’s really user-friendly. It’s very easy to navigate. More and more people are signing up for Blogdive everyday. However, the fun does not stop there. Aside from all the features that you get with a WP blog, Blogive has something that no other blog host can offer. With Blogdive, you have the ability to choose your own domain. Yes. You read it right. You can choose your own domain with Blogdive.

Blog hosts makes you follow and use their domain. But with Blogdive, you have the choice of different domains, to suit your personality. You can choose from these domains, and many more.

  • wblog.ro
  • acasa.info
  • isfast.com
  • corrupted.biz
  • dreams.ro
  • sinners.ro
  • justpost.com
  • unixclan.org
  • cracker.ro
  • blogdive.com

Signing up for Blogdive is also free. There really is not downside to having a blog with Blogdive. In fact, I don’t see a reason why you should not. *wink*

Gaming

January 25, 2010

I am playing a new game in Facebook right now. It’s called Kingdoms of Camelot. I just started it a couple of hours ago, so you can expect my kingdom to not be that grand yet.

The game is played like Evony, Nap Wars, and Kingory. For those who does not know, I was once addicted to those three games which all originated in China (or so they say). I think this is the only game of its kind that was integrated to Facebook.

Everything else is similar to Evony. You need to build your city, grow your army, protect your land, and gain honor and might. I like this game better than the browser based ones because I feel more safe with this. Evony and the other games just had too much controversy tied to it. I feel like I am beginning to be such a paranoid when playing browser games.

If you have Facebook, why don’t you try it out. You might enjoy it too. Look me up, and add me. Let’s all build our kingdoms! 🙂

New Website

January 22, 2010

I have had a Multiply account since 2004. I’ve invested much time in it. I’ve posted so many albums there. I have shared so many thoughts on my blog. I have connected with so many friends from there. That account has become a huge part of my life.

But my life has gone through so many changes. I’ve since searched for my soul, for my place, for that special part of this world that I fit in. I’ve been through so many life-changing experiences. This is why I feel like it’s now time to say goodbye to my old Multiply account.

For blogging, I’m so satisfied with WordPress. Everything about being a good blogger, I already get from here. For social networking, well, I’ll always have Facebook. But I still feel the need to own my own website. I want to upload unlimited pictures and music. I want to share my life even to those who are not part of my social network. So I dedcided to open a new Multiply account.

Yes, I am saying goodbye to http://ishathebeautiful.multiply.com…. So much has been given to this site. But I am also saying hello to http://ishabellemanalo.multiply.com….. I am so excited to start working on  my new site. I hope you will also visit my Multiply site. Have a great day, my dear friends! 🙂
